What makes the Coop stand out? For starters, a diverse selection of local vegetables, meats (including the much-praised lamb), and an impressive assortment of cheeses and charcuterie await your exploration. Customers have raved about the specially baked olives and pickles that are nothing short of culinary delights. The essence of being local is palpable, creating a unique grocery experience that reflects the rich agricultural heritage of the region.

Many patrons, such as N C., have expressed appreciation for the store's commitment to sourcing fresh ingredients. Meanwhile, Louis B. speaks highly of the extensive craft beer and wine selection, particularly highlighting options that celebrate local breweries in New Hampshire and Vermont. Within its aisles, you’ll find a stunning array of fresh meat and fish, paired with a comprehensive assortment of cheeses not just from New England but also imported varieties, making it a one-stop-shop for food enthusiasts.

I love this Coop. I live 30 miles away, yet every time I'm in the area I pay a visit along with my cooler bags to get some of the freshest local produce and quality non perishables available. Their craft beer selection, particularly from Vermont and New Hampshire, is the best on the area. They also have a superior selection of quality wines. Likewise, their fresh meat and fish selection is without par in the Upper Valley. And then there is their cheese offerings. Quite extensive including imported and New England cheeses. The Coop has classes on many types of health and cooking interests. The pandemic put a stop to many of their offerings but they're now back in full swing. I attended a cast iron cooking class and maintenance which I found amazingly instructive. The stay knows what they're doing, particularly in the meat and fish department and can give you tips on preparation and cooking to gain the best nutrition and taste. I found their service to be absolutely superb. Their clientele is indeed upscale and that is expected for the area and location. A friendly and knowledgeable crowd looking for top notch nutrition. The Coop distinguishes itself for the composition of their board, elected among the members, which also provide superb services to underserved populations in the area. Overall one of the best food shopping experiences in the two states.

I enjoy the service here, very friendly and quiet shopping experience, much less hectic than bigger stores like Giant or Safeway. The food is the same as anywhere but very good looking produce and of course a lot of selection for local businesses.

Surprisingly big store with a great selection of prepared foods (which I needed when I was staying at the hotel across the way and working odd hours). They do in fact let you shop there if you aren't a member, which wasn't immediately clear to me. In fact, everyone was nice and friendly to me in my zombie-like state (see: working odd hours). I suspect I'd join up if I lived in the area!

Big, well organized store. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Tins of local bakery & bread options. Oddly, no fresh gluten free bread, cakes or muffins. I had a sandwich from the deli that was delicious and well constructed. Parking was ample & safe. Super close to Dartmouth Medical Center.
